TVET Program Training Update: Program was officially launched on 31st May 2025

TVET TRAINING TO START IN AUGUST (MONTH 8)

The program was officially launched on 31st May 2025.

This announcement was made by Mr. Idris Bugaje, the Executive Secretary of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). He made this statement during his visit to the Katsina Youth Craft Village (KYCV).

Mr. Bugaje stated that the training is divided into three categories:

1. Master 12 (1 Year)

2. Master 6 (6 Months)

3. Technical College Track (3 Years for youth aged 13 to 20)

Under the Master 6 training track, each participant will receive:

₦180,000 tuition support

₦22,500 monthly stipend for the duration of 6 months

A certificate and startup capital upon completion of the training.

The training will commence in August and will be conducted across all Federal and State Government Training Centers, as well as in some private training centers.
