NEWS UPDATE: N-Power Beneficiaries Submit Official Complaint Over Outstanding Stipends

The National Association of N-Power Beneficiaries has formally addressed the Honorable Minister of Finance regarding the prolonged delay in the payment of outstanding stipends owed to participants in the N-Power programme.

In a letter dated 27th June 2025, signed by Mr. Kehinde James, National Adviser of the Association, the group highlighted the financial hardship caused by the delayed payments. Many beneficiaries depend heavily on the stipend for their basic needs, and the delay has created serious challenges in their daily lives.

The letter was officially received and acknowledged by the Federal Ministry of Finance and also by the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, indicating that the issue is now under formal review.

The Association appealed for the swift intervention of the government, expressing hope that the matter will be resolved promptly to ease the burden on Nigerian youths.

This move reflects the growing frustration among beneficiaries and signals the urgency of the situation.
