As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen the statistical system in Kano State, the Kano State Bureau of Statistics is calling for applications from competent individuals to serve as Volunteer Adhoc Focal Persons for a major data collection exercise across the 484 wards in the 44 Local Government Areas of the kano state.

Role Description:

Selected volunteers will be responsible for collecting and reporting grassroots-level data on health, education, and demographics, including records of births, deaths, and marriages.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must:

Possess a minimum qualification of Diploma or NCE (teachers and health workers currently serving within the wards are strongly encouraged to apply).

Be a resident of the ward within the Local Government Area.

Own an Android/IOS smartphone and be active on WhatsApp.

Be passionate and committed to supporting the development of Kano State through data-driven decision-making.

Additional Information:

Selected volunteers will receive comprehensive training on digital data collection tools and techniques.

This is a voluntary position and does not come with a salary.
