Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate the implementation of the UN Joint Programme on the elimination of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) in the Southwest region.
- Develop partnerships and contribute to the overall effort to end all forms of violence against children, with a particular focus on girls.
- Expand the FGM program to new priority states, identified based on the latest MICS 2021.
- Work closely with counterparts in Abuja to ensure a cohesive approach in preventing violence against women and girls.

Qualifications:

- Advanced university degree in international development, gender, social norms, human rights, psychology, sociology, or relevant social science field.
- Minimum of five years of professional experience in child protection and gender-related areas.
- Demonstrated track record of leading evidence-based programming on child protection, gender, social norms, or harmful practices.
- Fluency in English required; knowledge of another official UN language or the local language is an asset. CONTINUE READING.....
