YEIDEP Program 2025: Updated Schedule, Grants Up to ₦500,000, and Application Deadline

Exciting news! The updated schedule for the YEIDEP program has arrived!

The process kicks off with Step 1: collating beneficiaries' accounts from 1st to 10th September 2025. 

Next, Step 2 involves engagement with beneficiaries for take-off from 11th September to October 11th 2025. 

Lastly, Steps 3 and 4 will involve the distribution of funds to Batch "A" beneficiaries, scheduled from October 20th to 30th, 2025.

The YEIDEP (Youth Economic Intervention and De-Radicalization Programme) is a Nigerian government initiative aimed at empowering youths aged 18-35 by providing financial support, enterprise development services, and training. 

Its primary goals include reducing unemployment, poverty, and radicalization among young people by fostering economic engagement. 

The program targets various sectors, such as youth farming cooperatives, tech training, and agribusiness, with plans to create millions of jobs, particularly in agriculture and related industries. 

It offers grants (up to ₦500,000 in some cases), business training, and mentorship to support youth-led businesses.

The latest update, effective as of July 2025, outlines the schedule: applications close on 31st August 2025, followed by account collation (1st-10th September 2025), beneficiary engagement (11th September-11th October 2025), and funds disbursement for Batch "A" (20th-30th October 2025). 

This initiative reflects a broader effort to empower youths and women, with recent mentions of a $2.5 billion global fundraising drive to expand its reach.
