The Green Youth Upskilling Program (GYUP) by Oando Foundation is a transformative initiative aimed at equipping young Nigerians aged 20-35 residing in Lagos State with practical skills for the green economy, To empower 25 young Nigerians with hands-on skills in green sectors such as renewable energy, recycling innovation, sustainable farming, and climate technology.

Eligibility Criteria:
To apply for the GYUP, candidates must:
Be Nigerian citizens aged 20-35 years.
Reside in Lagos State.
1. Have completed a minimum of secondary education (SSCE).
- Show a strong interest in advancing technical capacity in the green economy.
2.- Foundational knowledge or experience in fields like solar energy, electrical work, mechanical trades, recycling, or climate-smart agriculture is an added advantage but not mandatory.
- Demonstrate passion and willingness to learn.
Required Information:
- A statement explaining why you want to join the GYUP.
- Details of any exposure to technical or green-related work (prior experience is not mandatory but considered an advantage).
- Career aspirations post-training.
- Optional supporting documents (e.g., training certificates, photos of prior work, references) to showcase passion and initiative, even if informal or self-taught.
3. Selection Process:
- Stage 1: Call for applications.
- Stage 2: Documentation review.
- Stage 3: Screening and shortlisting.
- Stage 4: Interviews leading to final selection.
3.- Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for the next stage.
4. Assessment Criteria:
- Completeness and relevance of the application.
