Portal Opening: The NSCDC recruitment portal is expected to open soon, possibly after the Passing Out Parade of the Basic Recruit Course 240/2025 and the 30th Basic Superintendent Course of the Nigerian Correctional Service, scheduled for June 26 and 27, 2025.

Warnings Against Scams: The CDCFIB and other agencies have warned the public about fraudulent recruitment letters and social media scams claiming ongoing recruitment.
