Call for applications: Green Money Project (GMP) - Apply Now

The internal memorandum from the TETFund Centre of Excellence in Food Security at the University of Jos, dated June 23, 2025, announces the official commencement of the Federal Government of Nigeria's Green Money Project (GMP). 

This initiative, led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu under the Renewed Hope Agenda, aims to empower young Nigerians in agriculture. 

It targets engaging 100,000 youth in its first phase, with the University of Jos and its Faculty of Agriculture as pilot institutions. Registration is now open for eligible individuals, particularly staff and students, with a link provided.

Applicants must be Nigerian citizens or residents, aged 18-40, with at least a secondary school education, interest or experience in agriculture or technology, and basic physical ability to engage in farming. 

A valid government-issued ID is required, and government program beneficiaries are ineligible
