"SO SAD" : Late Nollywood Makeup Artist Abigail Buried In Akwa Ibom, Click To Honor Her Memory!"

The late 24-year-old Nollywood makeup artist, Abigail Fredrick, was laid to rest on Monday in her hometown of Ikot Udoma, Eket Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.

Frederick was among the five film crew members, including actor Junior Pope, who died in a boat accident on the River Niger last Wednesday.

The Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, ordered her body to be brought back to the state for a proper burial after she was initially buried by the riverbank.

The late Abigail Frederick, a Nollywood makeup artist who tragically passed away in a boat accident, was laid to rest following the governor's directive.

Her body was exhumed on April 14, 2024, and a candlelight procession honored her memory.

The funeral service, held at the Church of Christ in Ikot Udoma, Eket Local Government Area, was attended by dignitaries such as the Eket Transition Committee Chairman, Commissioner for Tourism, SA on Entertainment, and Nollywood actress Eve Esin.

The event brought together the Nollywood community members and colleagues to pay their respects.

The reburial ceremony in Akwa Ibom was a heartfelt tribute to Abigail and her family, showing the community's love and respect.

The state government's participation highlighted the importance of honoring the departed and supporting grieving families.
