CENSUS PAD STEP BY STEP USER’S GUIDE
Main Menu Page
This is the main menu page of the Census Pad which constitute
An introductory section at the top displaying a welcome message to the user ie (welcom (user) and (role)
READ — Download Census PAD Nigeria
- PROVISIONING: this is the section which gives user access to fetch all resources, work frames and basemap need before the survey.
- CENSUS TASK AND GOALS: This section shows all tasks and progress across Building numbering, Household listing, and Census Enumeration.
- TEAM COVERAGE/PROGRESS: This section shows the total building and household listed by you and your team within the selected enumeration area.
- SYSTEM CONFIGURATION: This section shows the operational settings of the Census Pad.

Provisioning Menu
This section contains six (6) steps required for an enumerator to fetch all resource needed for his survey.
NOTE: this steps requires internet connectivity.
- AUTHENTICATION: Click on the ACTIVATE button to activate assigned
Enumeration Area. - ENUMERATION AREA & BUILDING FRAME: Click on the FETCH FRAME button to fetch assigned Enumeration Area.
- FETCH BASEMAP: Click on the FETCH BASEMAP button to download your basemap offline in preparation for field activities.
- TABLET PROFILING AND TAGGING: This would profile and Authenticate your device in order to generate an approve device tag of this Exercise
- CS-ENTRY SET UP: Click on the CHECK STATUS button to confirm if the CS-Entry has been properly installed and provisioned for census Enumeration. This Step require you to download CS Entry app, click here to download
- OATH OF SECRECY: Click on the TAKE OATH button to read and Consent
to the Census enumeration oath of Secrecy
Profile Activation
Click on the proceed button, For the training purposes you will only need to input your full name and phone number.
