To Expand access to livelihood support and food security services, and grants for poor and vulnerable households and firms.


President Muhammadu Buhari had promised to lift 100 million people out of poverty in 10 years and that the NG-CARES Programme is one of the strategic actions being taken to achieve this Presidential Mandate. Diverse and severe impacts of the pandemic are being felt across the world with significant consequences on informal farmers who depended on their farm produce to survive. Federal Government has created several windows of interventions as captured in the Economic Sustainability Plan.
